Burns Scalo Announces Expansion & Diversification Plan

PITTSBURGH, PA — Burns Scalo Real Estate (BSRE) today announced a growth plan that includes the creation of a new Advisory Services division. BSRE is the region’s largest, privately-held diversified commercial real estate organization that manages, leases, and develops office, life science, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
For nearly 70 years, BSRE has honed its craft and shaped its services by investing more than $650 Million of private capital into the local market, consistently winning for its investors. The strategic move accelerates the firm’s expansion by offering the same visionary approach and services to investors, and commercial real estate owners outside of its portfolio.
Created to help investors and owners evaluate real estate and to provide options for the best use of the client’s property, crafting the best scenario for the client’s financial objectives and situation. BSRE Advisory Services umbrella includes commercial brokerage, commercial development and construction, and commercial asset management services.

BSRE has been leaning toward the diversification of its portfolio and its expansion of services for several months. Within the past five months alone, it has announced the realignment of its brokerage team to form a new Brokerage Advisory Team, the awarding of three new facilities management contracts, , and launched a new high-bay industrial project – a significant shift for a historically office and mixed-use developer.
