SOUTH FAYETTE, PA — Burns Scalo Real Estate is proud to announce it has signed a lease for a new Primanti Bros. Restaurant & Bar, at The Piazza in South Fayette, Burns Scalo’s upscale restaurant and entertainment destination in “Boomtown.”
Primanti Bros. is now the second notable restaurant brand to sign a lease at The Piazza. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill signed a lease at The Piazza in September 2021. Primanti Bros.’s new location promises to bring more of what Pittsburgher’s love – fresh, house-made ingredients, big sandwiches, and awesome deals on the coldest drinks.
“Our vision for this development has always been to create a premier destination for residents, businesses and visitors alike,” James Scalo, CEO of Burns Scalo Real Estate. “Adding the Pittsburgh cultural icon, Primanti Bros., to Firebirds Wood Fire Grill is only the beginning of executing our vision.”
Adam Golomb, President, Primanti Bros.
“I grew up nearby,” said Adam Golomb, President, Primanti Bros. “So opening a restaurant here feels like coming home. We’re pumped to bring the same Primanti Bros. experience we all remember to South Fayette. Big sandwiches, big beers and great deals – the same things we’ve been doing since 1933.”
South Fayette Commissioner, Gwen Rodi, added, “I am thrilled that Primanti Bros., a great local favorite, will be joining the Piazza in South Fayette. Their addition will provide familiar hometown food and a great gathering space in the township, which has been needed for many years.”
Primanti Bros. is anticipated to open its doors in late 2022.

About Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar
In 1933, Joe Primanti opened a lunch cart in Pittsburgh’s Strip District selling sandwiches to the hungry truckers who were coming and going at all times of the night. Encouraged by sales and positive feedback, Joe expanded to a small storefront where he was joined by his brothers Dick and Stanley and their nephew John DePriter. And that’s how the very first Primanti Bros. location was born – Primanti Bros. currently has 43 locations, all dedicated to that early notion that folks deserve great food, with no pretense, for a good price.
