LEADERSHIP
For more than thirty years, visionary entrepreneur Jim Scalo has built one of the largest integrated real estate firms in Western Pennsylvania. Under his leadership, Burns Scalo Real Estate has grown its portfolio to encompass more than 5 million square feet of commercial real estate assets. With multiple market-making developments currently underway, he continues to push the boundaries of his firm through innovation and strategic growth.
Lindsay Files is responsible for the overall financial management of the company in addition to elements of operations, human resources while leading the organization’s team of financial accountants. Since joining Burns Scalo Real Estate in 2008, Lindsay has been solely responsible for designing and managing the accounting systems, financial filings, reporting, and controls, which are presently in place.
As Chief Investment Officer, Christie Reiber is responsible for all acquisition and development underwriting and feasibility for Burns Scalo Real Estate. To date, she has secured over $1 Billion in project underwriting since joining the organization in 2009.
Tim joined Burns Scalo Real Estate in April of 2019. As in-house General Counsel, he focuses on all aspects of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, development, disposition, leasing, and financing of all types of property.
Since joining the firm in 2009, Steve Whittingham has been an integral component of the growth of Burns Scalo Real Estate Development. As Director of Development, Steve’s extensive background in all phases of real estate development and construction management inspires a team of project managers to deliver high-level development coordination and construction supervision from the design and build stage through project closeout.
Bob Fittipaldo is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of facilities and property management experience. Presently, he meticulously monitors and manages a portfolio of more than 3 million square feet of commercial office and retail space. As Director of Facilities, Bob leads a hospitality-inspired team of client experience specialists and field technicians that deliver a 24/7 concierge-level of service to every client every day.
Scott DiGuglielmo has become a go-to expert for executives evaluating all types of real estate opportunities and advising clients throughout the region on real estate strategies to help them achieve their corporate objectives. Scott has successfully delivered more than five million square feet of successful commercial transactions on a local and national level since 2016 while leading the Burns Scalo Real Estate Brokerage team in delivering the region’s finest luxury real estate.
